Support services company Cape plc said yesterday, August 13, that it has won a series of new contracts in the Far East/Pacific Rim worth over £10 million.

The company said that the contracts are expected to generate revenue in 2009.

Cape said it has been awarded two contracts in Singapore. The first one awarded by CB&I Overseas LLC involves completing the onsite insulation works for the Invista Ammonia project on Jurong Island.

Work will commence in September 2008, with completion anticipated early in 2009, Cape said.

The second contract is from Bovis Lend Lease Pte Ltd, which involves providing access and formwork for the construction of a 19-storey residential tower with a two-storey car park structure.

Work on the site will commence immediately, and is scheduled for completion by February 2009, the group added.
